Men's Pocket of Enthusiasm Group (AA)
|
|
The Men's Pocket of Enthusiasm Group meets every Wednesday at 7:00pm at the First Ave. Presbyterian Church, 418 First Ave. in Evansville, Indiana. The primary purpose of M.P.E.G. is to provide for the common needs of men seeking to recover from alcoholism. Our group believes that through the actions incorporated in the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, coupled with an understanding of the 12 Traditions of AA and the fellowship available in the process of one alcoholic helping another, alcoholism can be arrested and a new life can begin to grow. We believe that for recovery to occur, action must take place. Just as faith without works is dead, recovery without action leads to stagnation.
